DL: Eu acho que o Niall é super, super doce e nós nos tornamos bons amigos. Eu sei o que é ser os centros das atenções pois eu cresci com isso. Eu quero apresentar os Estados Unidos para os meninos da One Direction, mas especialmente ao Niall pois ele ainda não andou muito aqui. Eu quero garantir que ele – ou qualquer outro deles na verdade, eu só não conheço todos muito bem – tenha alguém para sair aqui nos EUA. Ele é realmente doce e sempre um cara lisonjeiro, quando diz que tem uma queda por você. Mas, eu estou em um momento em que eu não estou namorando com ninguém. Eu jurei não namorar por um bom tempo. Você nunca sabe o que o futuro guarda é claro, mas agora eu sou uma mulher independente e orgulhosa disso.
SM: Você e o Niall irão sair quando eles estiver no EUA para o MTV Music Video Awards, que acontece no mês quem vem?
DL: Sim, eu adoraria! Eu ando bem ocupada porque eu ainda estou fazendo shows nos finais de semana, mas com sorte eu terei tempo.

MS: Even though you said, you and Niall Horan are just friends, he called you a "dream girl". So what's really going on between you?
DL: I think Niall is super, super sweet and we became good friends. I know what is to be the centers of attention because I grew up with it. I want to introduce America to the boys of One Direction, but especially to Niall because he has not walked a lot here. I want to ensure that he - or any of them actually, I just do not know all too well - have someone out here in the U.S.. He is really sweet guy and always flattering, when he says that has a crush on you. But I'm in a moment I'm not dating anyone. I vowed not to date for a long time. You never know what the future holds is unclear, but now I'm an independent woman and proud of it.
SM: You and Niall will leave when they are in the USA for the MTV Video Music Awards, held in those coming months?
DL: Yeah, I'd love it! I've been very busy because I am still doing shows on weekends, but luckily I have time.
